Today in class we looked at Euler’s Law. Euler’s Law states that the number of faces added to the number of vertices will always equal the number of edges plus two which is F + V = E + 2. Take the Tetrahedron. It has 4 faces, 4 vertices and 6 edges.

F + V = E + 2
4 + 4 = 6 +2
8 = 8

Now try the Icosahedron which has 20 faces, 12 vertices and 30 edges
